2. Unfold the respirator. Flatten the nose bridge then bend it into a contour
3. Hold the respirator with AMD logo side away from you.
4. Hold the respirator by the ear loops and place a loop around each ear.
5. Position the respirator under your chin with nose bridge up.
6. Mold the stiff edge to the shape of your nose.

INSTRUCTION TO USE

Before putting on the respirator, wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitiser. Take care not to touch the inner layer that will be in contact with the nose and mouth when unpacking and while donning. Check for defects such as tears or broken loops.
Position the label side out and orient the respirator so that the nose bridge strip is at the top.
Unfold the respirator while holding onto the edges, again being careful not to touch the area that will be in direct contact with the nose and mouth. Position the cover over the nose and mouth and place one ear loop over each ear.
Mould the nose bridge wire to the bridge of the nose and while pinching the nose bridge in place stretch the bottom of the respirator over the chin. Press along the edges to maximise the seal.
Avoid touching the respirator while wearing; if touched, wash hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based sanitiser. Replace respirator if it becomes obviously contaminated; never reuse single-use respirator.

REMOVING THE RESPIRATOR

Wash hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitiser before removing the respirator. Unhook the ear loops, taking care not to touch the front of the respirator which might have become contaminated. Dispose as per local policy & procedure.
